This arrived very quickly, and I appreciate the seller's communications (Matt).As others have said, removal of the old anode was by far the biggest headache.You MUST use a 6 point socket to avoid rounding it off.Installation of the new electrode was easy and it sealed perfectly.The power supply settled in at about 2.76 volts after an hour of operation.Our setup- 8 year old Rheem 50gal water heater and a water softener, well water.Don't neglect yours..!Nice product, great seller.Thanks!!!
