Well worth the time to research this brand compared to others, the features are stand alone. 2 years ago I bought the expensive brand for my home and had to replace the tank due to it leaking last year. I took the power supply apart, compared it to the Water Tank Tec brand and it was just like it is on his website, a cheap unit. I like the green and red led plus the buzzer since it is hard to see the power supply where my outlet is. I recently purchased an apartment building with 50 units and all have 40 gallon gas hot water tanks which I will be installing this product over time in each unit. Thanks very much Matt.
