Works as advertised.
I had to hire a plumber to remove the old rod. Odor was gone the next day.
I was skeptical about this product since I have bought another one that leaked at the top and ruined my tanks insulation. I purchased this product in December 2019 and in March decided to purchase another one for my second tank. I am a retired mechanical engineer and was skeptical about these types of products. My first tank read 1.7 volts into the tank and the second older tank when installed was 2.9 volts. I switched the power supplies and the second tanks output went from 7.3 volts and settled to 2.9 volts in 2 minutes which convinced me the power supply does adjust automatically. A note, I have no water odor just tired of replacing anode rods, I hope it will last. Thank you Matt for this product.
Have had a problem with odor from hot water heater faucets. Factory anode lasted about 4 months. Then replaced it with aluminum/zinc. It lasted about 4 months and odor returned. Decided to go with electronic anode rather than Magnesium because hot water is softened. Installation was very easy once the old anode was removed. I found that an electrically driven impact wrench worked great. Odor eliminated. Second water heater water began to have emit odor. Replaced it with a second electronic anode. Water odor gone. The first one's green indicator was solid light. 2nd blinked at a high rate. Email to company said this was normal. Very fast and courteous response. Hopefully they will last for a long time. Very satisfied so far. The extender rod was a valuable addition one water heater.
We live in Michigan and have a well. This product has been in our system for over 18 months with expected results as their add states. It was hard to install. Our water heater is 2 years old and the old anode seemed to be welded in the tank. It took 3 of my friends to hold the tank so that my pipes did not break. I recommended this product to a friend of mine and he was able to get his anode out with ease, go figure. This product worked for our home. I have no hot water odor since the installation
Works as advertised. egg smell is gone.
My husband and I live in Virginia and our well is 320 feet deep. We have replaced 2 water heaters in the past 5 years from rust so after some research on why water heaters go bad I took a chance with this product and purchased it in October 2018. Their product arrived in 2 days and was installed in our 1 year old heater. The seller recommended we flush the heater so we did and it was full of chalky white rocks from I think from the old anode since it was only a wire in the tank. We purchased another one in March 2020 for a second water heater for our new addition. My husband drained the old heater since we had to move the tank to a new location and the water was clear from white rock parts. We are satisfied with this product and how it was represented on their website.
I purchased 2 anode rods a few weeks ago. One was zinc and the other your system. The zinc rod had a smell after a month, your product is odor free. I will be ordering 14 more for out resort cabins soon. Thanks Matt.
I purchased 2 units and had my plumber install them. 1 was a bradford white and needed the conversion. My plumber had no idea these products existed. I am pleased to say that my odor problems are gone.
I installed this produt in 2 bradford white heaters. I am glad to get rid of the combo anodes since nobody carries them and I have to order them through the internet. This product did get rid of the odor problems so the wife is happy and happy wife is a happy life!
My heater is from Germany and they dont make them anymore. I contacted Matt to see if his product would work. After exchanging some photos he came up with welding a female adapter to the top of my tank. This worked and my water smell has been gone for over 2 months. I am very pleased that I will not have to worry about anymore. Matt was very good at helping me through this.
