Many Thanks for your reviews!

Hello Matt, The anode was a bear to remove. I wish I would have known that going into it, you website should point this out. I tested your products output voltage as your website claims that it adjusts automatically. 3.3 volts when installed 3.5 1 hour later 3.1 2 days later 2.9 three days later 3.1 four days later 3.1 Your product rocks, smell is gone and the voltage does adjust. Thanks

Hi Matt and Team!
Attached is a photo of a successful installation of the Water Tank Tec powered anode into an older generation Stiebel Eltron Accellera 300 heat pump water heater.
The water heater ate up two full-size magnesium anodes in less than 4 years. Removing the second anode was quite an endeavor ... I had to drill out the mass of corrosion and clean the tank threads.
As you can see, however, ultimately there is a lovely new powered anode!
Great product, great info on the website, and green lights to all!

I sent this company 16 emails trying to learn about their product. Matt answered every one of them so I bought 12 of them. 2 led lights failed within 3 months. I was sent a new power supply and a replacement LED for the other one which was easy to install 5 minutes tops. I am sticking with this product.

Just installed your anode after purchase in May. Original anode so tight that 6 side 1 1/16 socket eventually rounded the hex head points with no movement. I used a 27MM extractor socket and electric impact gun to finally remove after repeated attempts. Breaker bar with pipe extension spun the full tank more than it could be held down! I guess they just want to sell new water heaters....Luckily I have a pretty complete tool set and some experience. Green light on and I'm hoping for the best. Have a few pics if you'd like. Appreciate your effort on all the website info. Thanks!

I installed the Water Tank Tec ICCP system last night. I ordered it last Saturday, and it arrived the following Tuesday. Given that Monday was a bank holiday, that is really fast.
We have never had a hot water odor problem, but our track record with water heater longevity has been lousy. Our softened water kills water heaters quickly, and over the years I have discovered I need to replace the sacrificial anode every 18 -24 months. So, I am installing this ICCP system in a new Bradford White 50-Gallon conventional gas unit to maximize its life without requiring a $45 magnesium rod replacement project every two years.
My buying decision was based upon a thorough review of this website, and its careful explanation of the science and the advantageous engineering differences between this unit and other competing products. I also liked the price, which was half of the cost of a leading competitor's product. I have confidence this addition will maximize my tank’s useful service life while minimizing my maintenance and time investment.
After installation, the light is green, and my anode is measuring 2.66 V, which seems consistent with other users’ results.
For Bradford White owners:
The only issue worth mentioning to owners of newer B-W tanks is caused by the thicker insulation layer on the top of the tank. From the instruction's recommendations, I was aware of the need to keep the length of the outlet nipple between the tank and the tee fitting as short as possible to maximize the amount of anode length reaching inside the tank.
Therefore, I bought the recommended “close” male-to-male nipple which is very short. But with the latest B-W tanks, the distance from the threads in the tank to the top of the shroud is now pretty far. Using the shorter “close” nipple size, I could not get the fitting to clear the flue collar as I screwed the whole assembly down into the tank. So I finally concluded that a 2” nipple is the shortest length that will allow enough clearance.

Installaton done! Thanks for the emails Matt, we should pay you overtime for your help! 2 months in, voltage rises from 2.7 to 3.1 and back down to 2.5 after the tank cycle. Thanks. Will order 2 more for our next doors neighbors soon.

Your website has a lot of information on it that I initially thought was blah blah until I purchased another product which I wont name I purchased around a year ago. I tested the anode voltage since your website seem to hit on this a lot and it was 0 but the dam led light was lit. I emailed the company and never received anything from them called them and nothing. I purchased your product and for the last 6 months its voltage goes from 3.2 to 2.79 to 3.7 so I can say it does adjust as you say it does. Thanks for a solid product Matt you rock!

Hubby had to install a water softner last week. The andoe system we purchased from you 7 years ago still sends out 2.38 volts to our tank and I sent you a picture of it. We had to move the tank for our new softener and drain it. The water was clear. Thank you so much for this Matt, I dont know if you rember or not but we were going though tanks every 3 years. Great product and many thanks, You are a man of your word Blessed!

I followed the recommendations to crank up the tank temperature to kill bacteria. Drained off maybe 5 gallons to install the new anode. Installation was simple following some of the photos and info from the website. Big plus is to have an impact gun, no need to wrestle with the tank and breaker bar. So far water has no odor but to be honest I’m not sure if it is from the anode or the bacteria kill. If it comes back, I will follow up

I am a very sceptical person by nature and have never heard of this type of product. I found this website and looked at others and decided to purchase the water tank tec one. I installed this product on a new AO 40 gallon tank.
The anode was hell to remove but I won.
This was 2 months ago and I feel positive about writing a review and about the product. Not sure how they work but when I installed this product the anode was getting 1.2 volts and I figured it was a dud land was pissed. 2 days later I checked it and the voltage was 2.7 volts. Checked it new years day, 2.6 volts. I really think what their add says is true. It adjusts. Great product.

Retired materials and corrosion engineer here. We have 3 A.O. Smith 40 gallon tanks and recently purchased this sytem for our 3rd tank. My 1st purchase was in July 2021.
2.4 volts to our 40 gallon tank and 3.1 for our pro-line 50 gallon tank.
Very informative website which is accruate in its presintation. Very pleased with the product.

I installed this product on my bradford tank in october. In november I noticed the led turned red so I pulled the anode out and it was broke in half. I contacted Matt and he requested a photo of the installation. He informed me of the problem which was I took the bradford anode out and cut off the end and installed the anode. The reason the anode broke in half was my bad, the anode never was reaching inside the tank. and in the tube which shorted it out. I purchased the new parts as lowes for around $17.00 not the $10.00 this add claims. I pulled the anode out today 12/23/2021 to check it and it was fine and the green light is on.
Good product, odor gone and email contact was great.
