There are many products on the market today that in my opinion are noting more than junk. I found this out the hard way with my customers. I replaced 4 anodes in January 2025 2 with the highest priced, most reviewed model sold and 2 with tank tec. My area is very low PH and eats up tanks. I flushed the tanks in March 2026, nothing abnormal on both products. Checked the power output to the anode and only .03 .09 volts on the high priced brands. The tank tec units were 2.3 and 2.7. This tells me the reviews are nothing but cooked on the high price brand. There is no way this is a strong product that maintains corrosion protection that lasts if it virtually stops within 2 years and tank tec stays running strong with less reviews. Stick with science and tank tec brand if you want your tank to last.
